Reiki

HEALING THERAPY

Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy-healing technique that promotes deep relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese terms: Rei (universal) and Ki (life force energy). This life force energy is believed to flow through all living beings and plays a vital role in physical, emotional, and energetic balance.

When life force energy is low or disrupted, we may experience stress, fatigue, emotional imbalance, orphysical discomfort. When energy flows freely, we are better able to feel calm,resilient, centered, and supported in our natural healing processes.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands gently on or just above the body using anon-invasive hover method. Clients often report sensations such as warmth, tingling, lightness, or deep relaxation, though each session andexperience is unique.

The most widely practiced form of Reiki today—Usui Reiki—was developed in the early 20th centuryby Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki is considered a complementary or alternative wellness practice and is often used alongside traditional medical care to support overall health and well-being.
